my exaggeration number…

June 27, 2008

I come from a family of exaggerators….our lineage feels like that of the Big Fish variety.  I have decided to settle and commit to the number I often use to enhance my exaggeration skills- it’s 57,000. It makes everything more dramatic and interesting.

it goes something like this..

“Babe, there were like 57,000 kids at that birthday party, never again am I going alone.”

“I could eat like 57,000 of them.” (strawberries just picked from the patch)

“I’ve only asked them 57,000 times to brush their teeth…blah, blah, blah”

what’s your number?

My number is either a gazillion or 15 billion depending how emotional I’m feeling about the subject. Too funny!

  2. Nan Says:

Our numbers tend to be greater than yours! Somewhere along the lines of a million, a jillion, quatrillion – anything with “illion” at the end.
Sending a jillion buckets of love to you and your sweet, sweet family.

well, you probably already know this, but it’s any large number that starts with 8. like:

“oh my god, i think i’ve changed at least 8 thousand diapers today…”

“there are about 8 million things left to do to plan this wedding…”

“we’ve packed about 8 billion boxes and we’re only halfway thru packing up the house…”

Your Mom’s and Dad’s number is seven

    From when we started dating until now we have a thing like this;

If I said that I loved you…you would respond I love you more…than you would respond I love you most…but than you could say that I love you seven.

and no could love more than seven (not even Jesus).

    Pach…I love you seven Dad
