Okay, you couldn’t possibly know it, but you hit all my soft spots in one single post. I’m a photographer, doula and gay woman. I’m melting in a puddle on the floor…..thank you for honoring this couple, this baby and this birth experience in those beautiful, beautiful photos.

Photos like this always make me tear up. There’s just something so amazing and powerful about these moments, even when you don’t know any of the players and you’re just seeing the photos. Beautiful, Patience!

I have always wanted to capture a birth, but I’m so terribly afraid of that ugly hospital lighting— I’m waiting for sweet homebirth. 🙂
