I think I remember seeing Jen write about this on her blog – how she always tells people that she was glad that they were born on their birthdays – am I remembering correctly? Josiah obviously understands the impact of this simple, yet powerful phrase. And, I have also said this recently to friends, on their birthdays, and…well, the message speaks for itself. thank you for sharing this. i will continue to also speak the message, “I am glad that you were born.” xo to you on this eve of the full moon.
