The family love was thick that night…no one wanting to miss one single moment. I was touched by her grace, his great love, the delight of her sisters, her powerful entrance into the world from the water…it was beautiful. Thank you Monique and family for allowing me to capture it…

Underwater labor is amazingly easy (by comparison) and fast. My 2nd and 3rd babies were home born and healthy in the 1970s spiritual midwifery movement (see Ina May Gaskin on facebook).
Love knowing women are still opting for alternative birth!

Oh my. My daughter had the same experience but I missed it because I went to my son’s graduation from boot camp. Makes me want to cry.

These photos are absolutely amazing! It brought me back to 2002 when I gave birth to my 1st child. Birthing tub, surrounded by people I love and a fast labor. I had my 2nd child the same way. Water birth totally rocks and if given the chance, I’d do it again. Thank you for sharing these.
