So precious! My mom never wore make-up, so I don’t recall this experience… but I feel like I’ve just lived it vicariously through these two lovelies. Thank you! xox
One of my youngest nieces loves to draw on eyebrows. She draws enormous eyebrows and when she comes out I call her Joan Crawford. But we embrace all of the make-up play because I still remember it when my Mom let me do it.
I still remember watching my mother put on her make-up when I was a little girl. All she wore was lipstick on her lips and a couple of dabs of lipstick on her cheeks, but I thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world! She is gone from the earth now, but make-up rituals have bound me to her forever!! Such a fun part of “being a girl”!!
