Loved the story! I’ve been lurking for a few days, after hearing about the Supersisters blog. I very, very much enjoy your writing and your stories of kindness are so inspirational. I can’t wait for more podcasts!
My mom was the same way–my dad called it having “the face,” meaning that my mom had the kind of face that just made people want to open up and spill. She can’t ever turn it off, and she gets so many stranger stories.
i’ve been reading your blog for a couple weeks now. as a weary vegan hippie traveler myself, and having been helped by many a stranger along the way, i had to comment.
so, from all of us hippie travelers, to all of you who practice random acts of kindness – THANK YOU!. you can believe that every time they have chips and vegan cake, they will think of you also.
it brings such joy and hope to know that there are still kind people, and even more so to know that people are passing on this kindness to their children.
when i find myself getting sucked in by all the negativity and hate in the world, God leads me to the good, to the kind, to people like you.
